Who We Are

We The Church has been a work in progress since March of 2020. When we started, our primary goal was to increase the quality of life for people on the streets through support services. The program has since changed to focus on the broader problems of homelessness, providing jobs for the homeless, and helping them move on from the streets when it is possible. Our hope is to add a housing program to our non-profit as well.

When it comes to community outreach, it has been our goal to help churches and church leaders get involved in our community downtown as a whole. In the book of Matthew, Chapter 28, verses 19 and 20 (NKJV):

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

So it is also our goal to provide opportunities for churches as a whole to come and partner with us in reaching the lost with the message of salvation through Jesus Christ in the greater Portland metro area. Whether people are new to doing outreach this way or not, we would like churches to join in and encourage them to partner with us to grow as a church body from one church to the next.
